The Article, The Common School and The Common Good, in the Citizenship Now Book, Mainly talks about how Students from a very young age are given tough circumstances that do not allow them to get the best education they could possibly receive. It talks about how moving so frequently puts the students in a disadvantage as appose to students who stay committed to a single school. It gives examples of how the United States faces this problem and are known for having children move to three different schools within just Elementary school. It also mentions how Switzerland has the greatest solution for a better atmosphere of education. They Specify the students from a young age and make sure that nothing interferes or distracts them from their opportunity in success in a specific field.
I do not generally agree with this idea that a student has to be stuck in one single educating building. It all depends on the student. Of course your going to have those selective few that just do not do well moving around, but students should still be able to do what is asked of them in any class room by any teacher. If a student is assigned to read two chapters of a book and write a response to it, what difference does it make in which school he or she does it in. The bottom line is that the student needs to be self motivated enough to take on their own responsibilities.

BODY RITUAL AMONG THE NACIREMA
The Nacirema people seem to be uneducated and can not be blamed for it. They take part in various rituals that in many times include their body in some sort of way. These rituals are bizarre and some are even torturous. There are cases that if a member of the group as a cavity due to decay, the holy-mouth-man will enlarge the tooth using barbaric tools and methods, or simply pull the tooth out. This is done to stop the decay from further contaminating the mouth. The logic behind this seems right, but the approach they use is very inhumane. The women of the Nacirema people also are involved in strange rituals. They bake their head in a small oven. I am still unclear of the reason for why they would want to do this, but I guess it is just another part of their life style.
They also keep sacred boxes or chests in their house, in which they store magical potions and powders. They believe that these magical objects are able to cure their diseases and keep them safe. Usually these boxes are overflowing with excess powders and potions, ones that they no longer remember what its use was, but are to afraid to throw it out.
The Nacirema beleive in these practices, despite the fact that they do not work. The just lack the knowledge and understanding to know better.
